Hello out there
Checking in after a few weeks. I am still going strong. I have lost 12lbs at this point weighing in last week at 303.00 so I am excited. I am working hard to meet my 2nd mini goal by sunday. Myactaully weighin is not until monday. I am feeling like its paying off but like everyone else on this journey I just want to see it more weight loss. I think I will probably have to lose like 25-30lbs before people will even notice a difference in my apperance. Lets see.....school ends like the end of next month and I will see if any of my students comment on my weight loss before in end of the semester. By end of April I will shoot for 25 lbs total and see what happens that ambitous considering where I am now. But I think it's possible. I am about to head to the gym now so to all have a great and and safe weekend.

quick check in
this week's weigh in was on 02.28.12 i lost 2lb and my total for month one was 7.4! I am a little short of my goal of 8 but I will take it with a smile. I am currently studying and cooking dinner. Just wanted to check in. I am feeling ok I had a great work out this morning and awaiting tomorrow workout. So by 03.25.12 I hope to lose 8.4 lbs to bring my total to 16 lbs in 2 months. We will see if I can do it.

Weigh in results
So yesterday was my weigh in and I did not make my goal of 3lbs but I did lose 1.5lbs. I will take that with a smile because losing weight is hard to do. I will admit that I feel better, I actually feel more confident. I reviewed my week to see what I ate and how can I make improvements. I realized last week although I remained in my allotted calorie range, I was not eating enough fruits and veggie servings. TOO many carbs not enough whole grains. That's what's great about journaling. I think this week I will have good results. That's the attitude I will have from now on. I have to have a positive attitude to get positive results. I feel like my workouts are challenging and I am not bored with them. Next week's weigh in will be one month in for me. My goal was 8lbs in a month. I am 5.4lbs now so we will see.....

dieting sucks!!!!
losing weight is HARD! this past week i have worked out 5 times. i have logged my calories on myfitnesspal and i am really not sure what the scale will say for my weigh in tomorrow. but i will say that i don't want to get discouraged. last week i lost 1.4 when i was hoping for 2 lbs. this week i was aiming for 3lb but will be happy with a loss of any thing. this time around this is more difficult than before but i can say that i am committed to this. i am going to win this battle. i am just going to continue to try until something moves. it has to move. my weigh is tomorrow morning i will post the loss.

I feel great about the efforts that I am putting in to lose this weight. Right now I am working out 4x per week mainly cardio sessions. I plan to post some pics soon so that I can document this journey. I feel good about my food choices although we need to buy more groceries. I have been eating out but that is my life and I have been making healthy choices. I am actuallu using myfitnesspal.com to count my daily calories. Yesterday we (my bro's GF) and I walked over 4 miles. I feel like I am on the right track but the key for me is consistency. I have to stay on point. I am honestly proud of myself. I also made some short term and long term goals.
- By 2/26/12: I want to lose 8-10lbs
- By 3/25/12: I want to have lost a total of 16-20lbs
- By 6/21/12: I want to be down a total of 40lbs
- By 10/09/12: I want have lost a total of 75lbs
- By 01/22/13: I want to have lost 100lbs
I feel like this is doable. But if I need to make modifications along the way I will. I am praying for success for everyone on a journey to improve themselves. So far I have lost 3 lbs I have 5 more to go and 2 weeks for the first mini goal. My goal for this week is 2lbs I weigh in on Mon. Lets see what happens!

Happy Birthday....
to me! Today is my birthday and I did nothing. I woke up and made a smoothie, went to the gym, talked to some friends, went shopping, had a lunch with friends, came home and relaxed with a quiet evening with my husband. Honestly it was perfect! Very relaxing...
Well this week has been pretty good so far. I am not keeping a food diary, I am just monitoring me intake carefully and I will see next week if this approach is going to work. This week I have just focused on cardio. Next week I will hit the weights.

Happy New Year
IT'S 2012! And I am still fat. I know 2011 had a lot of failed attempts. I always start out so enthusiatic and then I fall of the wagon. I am again starting today 01.16.12 back on but this time I have a new restored spirit. I started a new job back in August that I QUIT last week. It was a great experience and I enjoyed my co-workers but management would not work with my school schedule so I was forced to resign. Which gives me more time for me and my family.
I feel like we got married and I never got the opportunity to be a WIFE! I have not transitioned well in my role because I was busy doing everything else. School, work, running a company, being a friend, daughter, etc I am a woman of many hats.
We also adopted our 1st child a blue pit bull puppy named Dallas. DH is a die hard Cowboys fan!
I am working with my issues one day and a time. Putting my health and myself as a priority in my life. I am also interviewing for PRN and PT positions that understand and know that I am in GRAD SCHOOL!
I plan to start the gym this week. I am organizing meal plans. We finally went grocery shopping on yesterday. I started couponing and I LOVE it! We saved $50.00 YESTERDAY with coupons! I plan to try to blog as often as possible but at least once a week for weigh ins. This time around no diets and all that just plain ole counting calories and exercise.
Home scale starting weight: 315.0
I will do measurements later.
